Bereits zum siebten Mal wird der Boost Fund für PostDocs ausgeschrieben. Ziel des Programms ist es, die Karrierewege von PostDocs in Deutschland flexibler zu gestalten, zu beschleunigen und eine frühe Unabhängigkeit zu fördern.
Gefördert werden Postdoktorand:innen der Biologie, Chemie, Geowissenschaften, Informatik, Mathematik, Neurowissenschaften und Physik durch:
- flexible Fördergelder – bis zu 120.000 € zur Schaffung von Freiräumen für eigene, riskantere sowie interdisziplinäre Projekte,
- Unterstützung beim Aufbau von (internationalen) Kooperationen & Netzwerken,
- gezielte Begleitung & Beratung zur professionellen und persönlichen Entwicklung

The Boost Fund for PostDocs is being offered for the seventh time. It aims to make the career paths of postdoctoral researchers in Germany more flexible, accelerating careers and promoting earlier independence.
The program strengthens researchers in Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Geosciences, Mathematics, Neurosciences, and Physics at public universities, HAW or non-university research institutes in Germany through:
- flexible funding of up to 120,000 € to create space for independent, riskier, interdisciplinary projects,
- support in establishing (international) collaborations and networks,
- targeted support and advice for professional and personal development
