Workshop: Explaining Science to Everyone (REVISED) - Session 1

This workshop is aimed at PhD students.

Participants will learn how to explain their PhD topic to a non-expert audience.

The content has been revised, so former participants are also warmly welcome.

We will work on three specific topics that will be presented at the Lange Nacht der Wissenschaft. Handouts and takeaway materials are prepared.

  • Session 1: April 10th, 3pm - 4pm, SR-Didaktik:
    Input & Exercise

  • Session 2: April 17th, 3pm - 4pm, HS 1:
    Presentation of three topics

  • Session 3: April 24th, 3pm - 4:30pm, SR-Didaktik:
    Working on presenting a specific topic

  • Session 4: May 22nd, 3pm - 3:20pm, HS 1:
    Reflection & Takeaways, followed by a regular GRK talk
