Wismar UAS at the Aurora International Peace Conference

Dr Anna Fomenko presented the Erasmus+ project EUComplianceM4UA and the role of compliance training for peace consolidation and ethics.

The Aurora International Peace Conference took place at the University of Innsbruck from 17 to 21 February 2025. More than 200 experts discussed the role of higher education in peace consolidation.

Dr. Anna Fomenko from the Wismar UAS presented the Erasmus+ project EUComplianceM4UA, which promotes compliance education at universities in Ukraine. She emphasised how compliance management and ethics contribute to the third mission of universities and prepare graduates for regulatory challenges.

Together with Prof. Dr. Nataliia Shalimova, she underlined the importance of international cooperation for strong compliance education. Wismar University of Applied Sciences continues to advocate for practical compliance education, thereby strengthening ethical leadership and social responsibility in higher education.
