Research Stay at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and Clinics

An associated member of our SFB 1270 ELAINEJacob Thönes, is at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and Clinics (DHMC) in the Halter Lab from February 1 to March 29, 2025. The Halter Lab aims to advance research in medical imaging technologies and systems designed to monitor, diagnose, and treat diseases. Ethan Murphy, Assistant Professor at Dartmouth Engineering, hosts Jacobs's research stay.

Jacob will focus intensively on Electrical Impedance Tomography, Electrical Impedance Spectroscopy, and Deep Brain Stimulation during his research stay. The main focus of his work will be on impedance tomography measurements. He will gain valuable hands-on experience in applying these technologies at DHMC.

This opportunity allows Jacob to discuss with international experts and collaborate with a highly skilled team. We are excited that Jacob is taking full advantage of this valuable opportunity to broaden his perspectives and gain new inspiration for his research projects.
