This puts the 22 active cyclists in 5th place out of 57 teams in the Northwest Mecklenburg municipal ranking. Congratulations and, above all, a big thank you to everyone involved. They managed to cover around 3,000 kilometres more than the team in 6th place. The undisputed leaders were the 116 cyclists from the Neuburg district, who not only covered the most kilometres with 31,508, but also by far the most participants.
With 1,265.5 kilometres, ‘Kai FWW’ alone accounted for around 17 percent of the Campus Cycling Team's total distance covered, while the 21 cyclists of our UAS completed an average of around 300 kilometres. Together, they all achieved the main goal of the ‘City Cycling 2025’ competition and demonstrated the benefits of cycling, especially for our environment.
While Northwest Mecklenburg cycled from 26 May to 16 June 2025, the three-week competition for the Hanseatic city of Rostock began on Saturday, 14 June 2025. If you would like to take part, you can join the team that was initiated by our SAL department in Warnemünde: HSW -Maritime Radler.
