Six experts from industry and science met at the University of Wismar to exchange ideas on future trends and AI in trend research. After a tour of the research facilities, the focus was on methodological approaches and challenges in trend analysis.
One of the key topics was the Industrial Metaverse, which uses digital twins and VR/AR technologies to open up new possibilities for sustainable production processes. AI-supported tools for trend analysis and their strategic implications were also discussed.
The exchange at the Innovation Port showed the importance of cooperation between science and industry in order to identify and exploit future trends at an early stage.
