The quintessence of the term sustainability is the preservation and protection of the ecological foundations of life. It encompasses ecological, economic, social and other aspects. Therefore, academics from all subject disciplines are encouraged to submit entries.
The prize can be awarded for dissertations and doctoral theses produced for any of the University of Greifswald’s faculties. The prerequisite is that the piece of work was submitted and marked in either 2024 or 2025. Dissertations and theses that already took part in the 2024 call cannot be submitted again.
The pieces of work can be submitted as PDF files via email to the university’s Sustainability Officer, Dr. Tiemo Timmermann until 15 March 2025. Please also attach a PDF file containing a copy of both supervisors’ original examiner’s assessments.
