Awards for Outstanding Final Theses – Spring 2025

Once again, students were recognised for their outstanding final theses.
It is a valued tradition at the Wismar Business School to award the best bachelor’s theses each semester.

This spring, the following works were acknowledged:

  • Stine Kübek (Business Administration): “Analysis of Early Repayment Penalties – Opportunities and Risks of Early Loan Repayment”, supervised by Prof. Dr. Petra Leitert and Prof. Dr. Jörg Wildgruber

  • Alina Wessel (Business Informatics): “Concept for Implementing an EU Security Directive Using the Example of NIS-2 in the Data Centre of the Tax Services at Dataport”, supervised by Prof. Dr. Marianne Schmolke and Ms Borchardt (Dataport AöR)

  • Karmen Schwab (Business Law): “Designing a Tax Compliance Management System for SMEs? – An Analysis of Challenges and Opportunities”, supervised by Prof. Dr. Jürgen Zeis and Prof. Dr. Axel Mutscher

The award ceremony took place on 16 April 2025 in room 20/220.

A special thank-you goes to Jana Wegner of Möhrle Happ Luther GmbH, who once again supported the ceremony. We congratulate all graduates on their remarkable achievements and wish them continued success on their career paths.
