The collaboration launched in 2017 with the Open Models Laboratory (OMiLAB) to develop a 4EM modeling toolkit continues to bear fruit. Following the introduction of an event logger and a (configurable) iterator for numbering elements in version 2.4 of the 4EM Toolkit in 2022, the development of the new release focused on bug fixes and improved assistance as well as the integration of a function for the automatic generation of 4EM General Models from related submodels. With the new function, the (usually) separately created submodels and their intermodel relations can be transferred into an overall model with a single click.
