As researchers, you are likely, over the course of your career, to face situations that challenge your integrity. You may, for example, come under pressure to cut corners. Such situations typically present a dilemma: yield to the pressure and compromise your integrity, or maintain your integrity and accept potential negative consequences. Sometimes you can duck the issue—In a proper dilemma, you cannot. In this workshop, we will explore such dilemmas, with the aim of developing a strategy to navigate them and to make sound decisions if the need arises.
