EXIST - start-ups for beginners (English Translation)

Start your own business: Basics & funding opportunities. Explore the world of business start-ups with the Center for Entrepreneurship (ZfE) at the University of Rostock, which has been advising students, employees and researchers in all phases of their start-up ideas for over a decade. Funding opportunities play a crucial role on the path to self-employment.

This event is based on the many years of successful acquisition of funding by the ZfE as an officially recognized start-up network and application office for all EXIST projects at the University of Rostock.
The “EXIST” funding program offered by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection (BMWK) supports university graduates, scientists and students in the development of their start-up projects, among other things with financial grants and know-how.

Content:

  • Presentation, procedure and differentiation of the two funding programs “EXIST Business Start-up Grant” and “EXIST Transfer of Research”
  • Requirements for a successful application and successful completion
  • Tips for the targeted preparation of the required application documents

Participation is free of charge.
